Ben Greenman :: Humor

Rhyming and Non-Rhyming

Musicals:

For the last decade, Mr. Greenman has been publishing current-events-themed faux musicals at sites around the internet such as McSweeneys, Gawker, and the New Yorker. His musicals, which puncture the famous for their peccadillos, have targeted such famous buffoons and hypocrites as O.J. Simpson. Larry Craig, Alex Rodriguez, and Eliot Spitzer. A musical about Britney Spears was even made into a short film. One of his most recent musical focussed on Sarah Palin, the governor of Alaska and the Republican vice-presidential nominee. It became a minor online sensation. The new piece is about the financial crisis and the bailout.
