Ben Greenman :: Short Fiction

Language + Imagination = Fiction

Mr. Greenman’s short fiction has appeared in several noteworthy publications, including the Paris Review, the Mississippi Review, Zoetrope: All Story, McSweeneys, Opium, Zeek, and others. His stories have been set everywhere from thirteenth-century Italy to the world of television sitcoms to outer space, but his subjects are usually the same: human disappointment, sex, the solace of jokes, and the unlikelihood of real self-awareness. Most of his stories have been collected in his books, or will be.
